If you haven’t followed Allen’s career you may not know that this Raleigh resident and North Carolina native is an accomplished inventor, speaker, gourmet chef, TV host, writer, and fine art painter and teacher. His work can be found in galleries and private collections from coast to coast. Early in his career he was represented by, and catalogued in the International Art Auction House of Sotheby’s in New York. He then went on to open galleries and publish hundreds of open-edition and limited-edition prints of his work.

In the last ten years Allen has combined his talent for painting, as well as his love for cooking and writing to not only publish his first book “Monet’s to Béarnaise,” but to host and produce a widely viewed cooking and art television show.

More recently, Allen has been asked by one of the world’s largest paint and art supply manufacturers to produce a line of "Allen Montague-The Southern Palette" paints, art supplies, finger painting kit and videos.

Allen is currently working with PR Street to carry and promote The Southern Palette products and services on a national level. These products, services, and scheduled events can be found on our website.

Over the years Allen has combined his artistic talents with his love of people to encourage students and viewers to paint along with him no matter what their skill level.
